On effect #4 (layer indicators), underglow LEDs (mapped to 255 in pixel-lookup) go dark. They keep stale colors from previous effect or turn off entirely.

Options:

Keep stock underglow animation running for 255-mapped LEDs while per-key LEDs show layer colors
Allow underglow LEDs to be mapped to key positions for layer-specific colors
Set a default underglow color for effect #4
